8. In article 2(1) of the Building Societies Act 1986 (Modification of the Lending Limit and Funding Limit Calculations) Order 2004(1), for the definition of “credit institution”, substitute—
““credit institution” means an undertaking the business of which is to take deposits or other repayable funds from the public and to grant credits for its own account;”.
