SCHEDULE 2 U.K.AMENDMENTS TO RETAINED DIRECT EU LEGISLATION

153.—(1) Article 9 is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In paragraph 1—

(a) omit the first subparagraph;

(b) in the second subparagraph—

(i) for “The Agency shall, on behalf of the Commission,” substitute “ The Designated National Authority must ”;

(ii) after “received” insert “ concerning the export to [F1 Great Britain] of a chemical the manufacture, use, handling, consumption, transport or sale of which is subject to prohibition or severe restriction [F2 under the legislation of a Party, other country or Northern Ireland], ”;

[F3 (iii) for the words from “each Party” to the end substitute “each Party, other country or Northern Ireland”];

(c) omit the third subparagraph.

(3) Omit paragraph 2.
