This regulation applies to a national control programme which, before exit day, was established by the United Kingdom in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation 2160/2003 on the control of salmonella and other specified food-borne zoonotic agents and approved by the Commission in accordance with Article 6 of that Regulation.

A national control programme to which this regulation applies is to be treated, in each constituent territory, as if it were a control programme approved by the appropriate authority in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation 2160/2003 (as amended by these Regulations).
