The Firearms Act 1968 M1 is amended as follows.

In section 5A M2 (exemptions from requirement of authority under s.5), omit subsection (3).

In section 22 (acquisition and possession of firearms by minors), omit subsection (1A) M3.

In section 27 (special provisions about firearm certificates), omit subsection (1A) M4.

In section 28 (special provisions about shot gun certificates), omit subsection (1C) M5.

Omit section 32A (documents for European purposes) M6 and the italic cross-heading before that section.

Omit section 32B (renewal of European firearms pass) M7.

Omit section 32C (variation, endorsement etc. of European documents) M8.

In section 42A (information as to transactions under visitors' permits) M9—

in subsection (1)(b)—

omit “or (d)”;

omit “or purchases or acquisitions by collectors etc”;

for “the member States” substitute “ Great Britain ”;
