The Police (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 M1 is amended as follows.

In section 29 (liability for wrongful acts of constables), in subsection (7), omit paragraphs (a) and (b) (together with the “or” at the end of paragraph (b)).

In section 66 (assaults on, and obstruction of constables, etc.), in subsection (6), omit paragraphs (a) and (b) (together with the “or” at the end of paragraph (b)).
