(i)for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;
(ii)in point (b), for “territory concerned” substitute “United Kingdom”;
(b)omit paragraph 2;
(c)in paragraph 3—
(i)in the introductory words—
(aa)for “Member States make” substitute “the appropriate authority(1) makes”;
(bb)for “they shall” substitute “it must”;
(ii)in point (a), omit from “this” to the end;
(iii)omit point (e).

A definition of “appropriate authority” is inserted into Regulation (EU) 1308/2013 by the Common Organisation of Markets in Agricultural Products Framework (Miscellaneous Amendments, etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/821).
