The Intellectual Property (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(1), 8B(1)(a) and 8B(2)(a)() of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21(b) of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018() and by section 36 of the Registered Designs Act 1949() and by section 78 of the Trade Marks Act 1994() and with the consent of the Treasury.
In accordance with paragraphs 1(1) and 12(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
