CHAPTER 3 Amendment of Commission Regulation on air operations

Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 (air operations)

62.  Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 of 5 October 2012 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to air operations pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council is amended in accordance with regulations 63 to 68.

Amendment of Article 9b of Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012

63.—(1) Article 9b (review) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 1—

(a) in the first place it occurs, for “Agency” substitute “CAA”;

(b) omit the words from “No later than” to “of this review.”;

(c) omit “, with the assistance of Member States,”.

(3) In paragraph 2—

(a) in the first paragraph, in both places it occurs, for “Agency” substitute “CAA”;

(b) in the second paragraph, omit “, with the assistance of Member States and the Agency,”.

Amendment of the Appendices to Annex 2 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012

64.—(1) The Appendices to Annex 2 (Part-ARO) are amended as follows.

(2) In Appendix 1—

(a) for “Issuing Authority (3)” substitute “Civil Aviation Authority”;

(b) omit footnote (3);

(c) in footnotes (4), (5), (6) and (15), for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;

(d) for “EASA Form 138 Issue 2” substitute “CAA Form 138 Issue 1”.

(3) In Appendix 2, for “EASA Form 139 Issue 6” substitute “CAA Form 139 Issue 1”.

(4) In Appendix 3—
