1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Citizens' Rights (Application Deadline and Temporary Protection) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and come into force on IP completion day M1 .

(2) In these Regulations—

• “the EEA Regulations 2016” mean the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2016 M2 ;

• “application deadline” has the meaning given in regulation 2.
