Amendment of regulation 3(19)23

In regulation 3(19)—

a

in regulation 34ZA as inserted by that regulation—

i

in the heading, at the end insert “, Great Britain”;

ii

for paragraph (6) substitute—

In this regulation “appropriate authority” means—

a

in relation to England, the Secretary of State;

b

in relation to Wales—

i

the Welsh Ministers; or

ii

the Secretary of State acting with the consent of the Welsh Ministers;

c

in relation to Scotland—

i

the Scottish Ministers; or

ii

the Secretary of State acting with the consent of the Scottish Ministers;

d

for the whole of Great Britain, the Secretary of State acting with the consent of the Welsh Ministers and the Scottish Ministers.
