In regulation 5(5) of the Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Miscellaneous Provisions (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 201824, in new regulation 7A, for paragraph (7) substitute—

“(7)

The first review carried out in accordance with paragraph (5) must be completed no later than five years after regulation 5 of the Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Miscellaneous Provisions (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018 comes into force (in accordance with paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5 to the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020).”.
