Article 7 is amended as follows.

In paragraph 3—

a

in the first subparagraph, for the words from “Directive”, in the first place it occurs, to the end substitute—

for England and Wales, the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 20165 and the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 20156;

b

for Scotland, the Pollution Prevention and Control (Scotland) Regulations 20127 and the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 2015.

in the first sentence—

for the words from the beginning to “setting out” substitute “The appropriate authority may, by regulations, prescribe”;

omit the words from “, provided” to the end;

ii

omit the second sentence.
