No phase of the connection works shall commence until for that phase written details of the surface and (if any) foul water drainage system (including means of pollution control) have, after consultation with the relevant sewerage and drainage authorities and the Environment Agency, been submitted to and approved by the lead local flood authority.

The surface and foul water drainage system for each phase must be constructed and maintained in accordance with the approved details.
