7. For regulation 7 (powers of other officers) substitute—
“7 Powers of assistant secretaries to the Public Works Loans Secretary
Any assistant secretary to the Public Works Loans Secretary (see section 6 of the Public Works Loans Act 1875), to the extent that they are authorised under section 4(1) of the Public Loans Act 1944(1), shall be competent to perform any act under these Regulations which may be performed by the Public Works Loans Secretary.”.
