Amendment of the Guardian’s Allowance (General) Regulations 2003

7.—(1) The Guardian’s Allowance (General) Regulations 2003(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 7(1)(a) (circumstances in which a person is treated as being in prison)(2) for “with not less than 2 years remaining from the death of the other parent” substitute “of at least 2 years and the other parent is deceased”.
(3) In regulation 9(1)(a) (residence condition) after “United Kingdom” insert “an EEA state or Switzerland”(3).
