1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3), these Regulations come into force on 28th March 2020.
(3) The insertion of regulation 4(2)(b) into the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) Regulations 2002(1) comes into force immediately after the coming into force of section 9(8) of the Coronavirus Act 2020(2) (compensation for emergency volunteers).
(4) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
