Coming into force

The Secretary of State has been designated1 for the purposes of making regulations under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to measures relating to consumer protection.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 210(9) and 212(3) of the Enterprise Act 20023 and section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, makes the following Regulations:
