At the Council Chamber, Whitehall, the 20th day of January 2020
By the Lords of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council
The University of Surrey (“the University”) is a university in the United Kingdom providing courses of study and examinations leading to a veterinary degree.
It appears to the Privy Council, after consultation with the Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, that the courses of study and examinations are sufficient to guarantee that holders of the degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science (BVMSci) conferred by the University will have acquired the knowledge and skill needed for the efficient practice of veterinary surgery and will have satisfied the requirements of Article 38 of Directive 2005/36/EC1, as read with Article 22(a) of that Directive.
Their Lordships, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1)(b) of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 19662, make the following Order.
