The General Osteopathic Council has made the General Osteopathic Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Rules 2020, which are set out in the Schedule to this Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(2), 6(3), 20(10) and 26 of the Osteopaths Act 1993(1).
By virtue of section 35(1) of that Act, such Rules must be approved by the Privy Council, and by virtue of section 36 of that Act, such approval must be given by Order of the Privy Council.
