1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 1st September 2020.

(2) The amendments made by these Regulations apply in relation to England only.

(3) In these Regulations—

the Use Classes Order” means the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 M1,

the GPDO” means the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 M2,

[F1“the CIL Regulations” means the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010,]

the material period” means the period beginning with 1st September 2020 and ending with 31st July 2021, and

a relevant planning application” means an application for—

(a)

planning permission or permission in principle, or

(b)

approval of a matter reserved under an outline planning permission within the meaning of section 92 of the 1990 Act.
