1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Railway (Licensing of Railway Undertakings) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.
(2) This regulation, regulation 2 and regulations 14 to 19 come into force on 30th September 2021.
(3) Regulations 3 to 13 come into force, and regulations 14 to 19 are revoked at 11.00 p.m. on 31st January 2022.
(4) These Regulations do not extend to Northern Ireland.
2. In these Regulations—
“the 2005 Regulations” means the Railway (Licensing of Railway Undertakings) Regulations 2005(1);
“the 2019 Regulations” means the Railway (Licensing of Railway Undertakings) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019(2).
S.I. 2005/3050, relevant amending instruments are 2015/1682, 2016/645 and 2019/700.
