An appeal against a decision at first instance may only be brought with either the permission of the court which made the decision or the permission of the court which has jurisdiction to hear the appeal.

An appellant must file an appellant’s notice (within the meaning of CPR Part 52) within twenty-one days after the date of the decision of the court that the appellant wishes to appeal.

The procedure set out in CPR Part 52 applies to any appeal to which this Chapter applies.
