PART 12NOTIFICATION OF DATES TO BE DETERMINED

Where in accordance with article 14 (classification of roads, etc.) any classification, speed limit, traffic regulation measure, restriction, revocation or variation or part thereof is to take effect from a day to be determined, the undertaker must notify the date for each classification, speed limit, traffic regulation measure, restriction, revocation or variation or part thereof as follows—

a

notice must be served no less than 14 days before the day to be determined;

b

notice must be served on—

i

the relevant highway authority in whose area the road in question is situated;

ii

the traffic authority in whose area the road in question is situated;

iii

South Somerset District Council; and

iv

the Chief Constable of police for the area in which the road is situated.

Notices served under paragraph (1) may make reference to more than one determination under article 14.
