PART 4Revocation of retained direct EU legislation and saving

Revocation of retained direct EU legislation and saving7.

(1)

The legislation set out in Schedule 1, so far as it forms part of domestic law by virtue of section 3(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20188, is revoked.

(2)

The points in Annex XXI to the EEA agreement, as it forms part of domestic law, set out in Schedule 2 are omitted.

(3)

Notwithstanding the revocation of Council Regulation (EC) No 2223/96, the reference to paragraph 2.48 of Annex A to that Regulation in section 17(3B)(a) (power to obtain information) of the Bank of England Act 19989 is to be read as reference to that paragraph as it had effect immediately before the Regulation was revoked.
