Coming into force
The Lord Chancellor makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1), section 25(3) and (8) and paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 to the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 (“the 2013 Act”)1.
In accordance with section 21(1) of the 2013 Act, the Lord Chancellor has consulted representatives of such persons as appear to him likely to be affected by these Regulations.
In relation to regulation 3, pursuant to section 24(1)(c) of the 2013 Act, the Judicial Pension Board2 has stated that it considers the regulation to be minor or wholly beneficial.
In accordance with section 3(5) of the 2013 Act, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury.
