Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules

5.  In Part 1 (The overriding objective), in rule 1.1—

(a) renumber sub-paragraphs (2)(b) to (g) as (2)(c) to (h) respectively; and

(b) after sub-paragraph (2)(a) insert—

“(b) treating all participants with politeness and respect;”.
