The Registrar General makes the following Regulations with the approval of the Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(2), 25(5), 36(1) and (2)(a), (c), (f) and (g) and 258 of the Civil Partnership Act 20041 and paragraph 11A(1)(b) and (2)(b) of Schedule 3 to the Gender Recognition Act 20042.
