Provisions coming into force on 1st July 20212
The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Immigration Act 2014 is 1st July 2021—
a
section 73(6) (transitional and consequential provision) so far as is necessary for the purpose of the provisions listed in paragraphs (b) and (c);
b
paragraph 17 of Schedule 9 (provision relating to biometrics – repeal of section 143 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 19992);
c
paragraph 18 of Schedule 9 (provision relating to biometrics – repeal of section 36 of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 20013).
