4.—(1) Commission Decision 1997/747/EC fixing the levels and frequencies of sampling provided for by Council Directive 96/23/EC(1) for the monitoring of certain substances and residues thereof in certain animal products is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 1—
(a)number the existing text as paragraph 1;
(b)after paragraph 1 insert—
“2. In this Decision, “competent authority” has the meaning given in Article 3(3) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625(2).”
(3) Omit Articles 2 and 3.
(4) In the Annex—
