EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order authorises National Highways to undertake works to construct the A57 Link Roads scheme and carry out all associated works.
The Order permits National Highways to acquire, compulsorily or by agreement, land and rights in land and to use the land for this purpose.
The Order also makes provision in connection with the maintenance of the authorised development.
A copy of the book of reference, plans, engineering drawings and sections, the environmental statement, the habitats regulation assessment screening report, the register of environmental actions and commitments, the first iteration environmental management plan, and the Water framework directive assessment mentioned in this Order and certified in accordance with article 42 (certification of documents, etc.) of this Order may be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at National Highways, Piccadilly Gate, Store Street, Manchester, M1 2WD.
