Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20181, and Article 10(8) of Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 setting CO2 emission performance standards for new passenger cars and for new light commercial vehicles, and repealing Regulations (EC) No 443/2009 and (EU) No 510/20112.
A draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with paragraph 1(3) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
