After regulation 69 insert—

Subject to paragraph (2), this regulation applies to an application under regulation 53(2) to which regulation 71(4A) applies.

This regulation does not apply where—

a

the application under regulation 53(2) includes an application under regulation 57(7), and

b

regulation 63A(2) applies to that application under regulation 57(7).

Where this regulation applies, the application under regulation 53(2) must (in addition to providing any other information required by this Chapter)—

a

state that it is made on grounds relating to identification, and

b

state which of the conditions set out in regulation 71A apply to the applicant.

In paragraph (3)(a), “grounds relating to identification” has the meaning given in regulation 71A.
