1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Storage Aid for Pigmeat (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 2nd February 2022.
2. In regulation 5 of the Private Storage Aid for Pigmeat (England) Regulations 2021(1), for paragraph (1)(b) substitute—
“(b)before noon on the earlier of—
(i)31st March 2022, or
(ii)the last working day on which the declaration(2) made by the Secretary of State under section 20 of the Agriculture Act 2020(3) on 11th November 2021, as extended or revoked, has effect; and for this purpose “working day” means a day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday in England and Wales within the meaning of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971(4).”.
