Abolition of districts and dissolution of district councils

4. On 1st April 2023—
(a)the following local government areas are abolished—
(i)the district of Craven;
(ii)the district of Hambleton;
(iii)the borough of Harrogate;
(iv)the district of Richmondshire;
(v)the district of Ryedale;
(vi)the borough of Scarborough; and
(vii)the district of Selby; and
(b)the district councils are wound up and dissolved.
