7. The requirements of section 138I (consultation by the FCA)(1) of the Act, in so far as they apply to a proposal by the FCA to make rules and guidance in relation to the amendments made by this Order, may be satisfied by things done (wholly or in part) before the date on which this Order comes into force for the purpose of enabling the FCA to make rules and give guidance.
Section 138I was inserted by section 24(1) of the Financial Services Act 2012. There are amendments to section 138I which are not relevant to this Order.
