Requirements for new-build propertiesE+W
7.—[F1(1)] A property meets the requirements in this regulation where the building—
(a)was built principally with the use of the labour or resources of the first owner (including where the resource was a loan which the first owner was liable to repay), F2...
(b)has not, while it was built or at any subsequent time been owned wholly or partly by a person who is not an individual [F3, and]
[F4(c)is not part of an excluded property development.]
[F5(2) In this regulation—
“excluded property development” means a development of multiple buildings constructed on a plot acquired from a person who decided or offered the plans or specifications to which the buildings were wholly or mainly built.]
