The Lord Chancellor makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 101B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841 (“the RTRA 1984”) and by sections 80 and 89(1) and (3) of the Traffic Management Act 20042 (“the TMA 2004”).C1C2C3

In accordance with section 134(5) of the RTRA 1984 and section 89(5) of the TMA 2004, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before, and approved by, a resolution of each House of Parliament.C1C2C3
