Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 113(1)(d) and (3) and 182(2) and (3) of the Pension Schemes Act 19931, sections 40(1) and (2), 41(1), 124(1) and 174(2) and (3) of the Pensions Act 19952 and sections 77, 99 and 144(2) and (4) of the Pensions Act 20083, makes the following Regulations.

In accordance with section 185(1)4 of the Pension Schemes Act 1993 and section 120(1) of the Pensions Act 1995, the Secretary of State has consulted with such persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.
