The Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment) (Employer-related investments by Master Trusts) (Amendment) Regulations 2022

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 113(1)(d) and (3) and 182(2) and (3) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993(1), sections 40(1) and (2), 41(1), 124(1) and 174(2) and (3) of the Pensions Act 1995(2) and sections 77, 99 and 144(2) and (4) of the Pensions Act 2008(3), makes the following Regulations.

In accordance with section 185(1)(4) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993 and section 120(1) of the Pensions Act 1995, the Secretary of State has consulted with such persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.

1993 c. 48. Section 113(1) is amended by section 52(1) of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 (c. 19).

1995 c. 26. Section 124(1) is cited for the meaning it gives to “prescribed” and “regulations”. There are amendments to section 124(1) but they are not relevant to this instrument.

2008 c. 30. Section 99 is cited for the meaning it gives to “regulations”. There are amendments to section 99 but they are not relevant to this instrument.

Section 185(1) is amended by Schedule 3 (paragraph 46), Schedule 5 (paragraph 80) and Schedule 7, Part 1 to the Pensions Act 1995.
