In Article 9 of the Pharmacy (Northern Ireland) Order 197611 (the registrar), after paragraph (5) insert the following paragraphs—

“(6)

The Department may appoint a fit and proper person as a deputy registrar for the purposes of this Order.

(7)

The registrar may authorise the deputy registrar to act for the registrar in any matter.”.
