Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 49 and 54(2) of, and Schedule 2 to, the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018(1), make the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 55(5)(d) of the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
2018 c. 13. Section 49 was amended by paragraph 9 of Schedule 3 to the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c. 13) and by S.I. 2019/466, 2019/573 and 2019/577, as amended, in each case, by S.I. 2020/1289. See the definition of “appropriate Minister” in section 1(9) of the 2018 Act.
