2.—(1) The Design Right (Semiconductor Topographies) Regulations 1989(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 4(2) (modified definition of “qualifying country”), in the modified section 217(3) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988(2), for paragraph (d) substitute—
“(d)any other country that is a member of the World Trade Organisation.”.
(3) Omit the Schedule (qualifying countries).
