In regulation 1 (citation, commencement and interpretation) of the Local Authority (Duty to Secure Early Years Provision Free of Charge) Regulations 2014(1), in paragraph (2), in the definition of “early years childminder”, after “the 2006 Act” insert “but as if the definition in that subsection was not subject to subsection (5) of that section”.
