Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill (Prohibition on Submission for Royal Assent) Order 2023 and comes into force on 18th January 2023.

This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

In this Order, references to “the Bill” are references to the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill as passed in its final stage4 in the Scottish Parliament on 22nd December 2022.
