18.—(1) The undertaker may acquire compulsorily so much of the Order land as is required for the authorised development, or to facilitate it, or as is incidental to it.
(2) This article is subject to article 19 (time limit for exercise of authority to acquire land compulsorily), article 20(2) (compulsory acquisition of rights), [F1article 23] (acquisition of subsoil only), [F1article 26] (rights under or over streets), article 27 (temporary use of land for constructing the authorised development) and schedule 15 (protective provisions).
