These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal and Civil Legal Aid (Amendment) Regulations 2023.

Except as provided for in paragraphs (3) and (4), these Regulations come into force on 3rd August 2023.

Regulations 3(2)(c), 3(3) and 4 come into force on 4th September 2023.

Regulation 3(2)(a) comes into force on the same day as and immediately following the coming into force of section 25(4) of the Nationality and Borders Act 20223.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
