Coming into force

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 5(1), 32(6), 34, 35(2), 35B(7), 35D, 91ZB(1), 91ZC(2), (3) and (6) and 101A of, and paragraphs 1A to 1D, 1F to 1I, 5A, 5B, 5C and 10 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 19841 and section 166(1) of the Building Safety Act 20222.

The Secretary of State has consulted the Building Regulations Advisory Committee for England and such other bodies as appear to be representative of the interests concerned in accordance with section 14(3) of the Building Act 19843.
