Citation, commencement, effect and extent1

These Regulations may be cited as the Communications (Television Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

These Regulations come into force on 1st April 2024.

These Regulations have effect in respect of TV licences issued on or after 1st April 2024.

These Regulations extend to—
a
England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland,
b
the Channel Islands, except regulation 4(48) and (49) and Schedule 2, and
c
the Isle of Man.
Amendment of the Communications (Television Licensing) Regulations 20042
The Communications (Television Licensing) Regulations 20047 are amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 5.

The Table in Schedule 1 (issue fees for TV licences) is amended as follows.
