The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8C(1) and (6) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20181 and section 47(9) of the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 20202.
In making these Regulations, the Secretary of State has had special regard to the matters listed in section 46(1) of the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020.
In accordance with paragraph 8F(1) and (4) of Schedule 73 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, and section 47(10) of the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
