Within 24 months of the permanent cessation of the commercial operation of the authorised development, the undertaker must submit to the relevant planning authority for its approval a decommissioning plan for the authorised development, including a timetable for its implementation.

The decommissioning plan submitted for approval must be substantially in accordance with the outline decommissioning plan.

The plan submitted to and approved under sub-paragraph (1) must be implemented as approved unless otherwise agreed with the relevant planning authority.
